Here are a few photos from today.  It is  Winter Time here  and it is absolutely beautiful.
This is part of the Gap of Dunloe Tour with Deros. The Lake Part is missing but we promise to show you the beauty of  Killarney Lakes next time. The tour begins by coach to Kate Kearney's Cottage from where you can take a jaunting car through the six mile pass, or alternatively you may wish to ''Walk to Gap'' as it an ideal location for hiking.  Within the pass are  five lakes : Coosaun Lough , Black Lake , Cushnavally Lake, Auger Lake , and Black Lough .These lakes are connected by the River Loe.Between the first two lakes is an old arch bridge called the '' Wishing Bridge'' so named because it is said that wishes made while upon it are destined to come true.

Westport Festival to relocate to Killarney

Instead the festival will rebrand and relocate to Kerry. The new festival which will run next June will be known as the  Killarney Festival of Music & Food will be known as the  Killarney Festival of Music & Food.
The Westport Festival had run for the past three years in the grounds of the historic Westport House. This year 20,000 music fans attended the two day festival which was headlined by Bryan Adams and David Gray.
In a statement issued today, organisers confirmed the event would be moving to Killarney.
“After three fantastic years in Westport, the promoters have made the difficult decision to move the popular boutique festival,” a statement read.
The family friendly festival will take place in Killarney  on the weekend of June 27 and 28.  Tickets will go on sale on Friday, December 12 at 9am from ticketmaster outlets nationwide.
“The Killarney Festival of Music & Food 2015 promises to be a fun filled entertainment weekend to remember with international and Irish acts performing across seven stages. Music acts, comedians, chefs, and children’s activities will be announced over the coming months,” organisers said.
Adult Day tickets cost €76 and weekend tickets cost €142.  Teen concessions are available and under 12’s go free
